Creative Colorful Makeup

A couple weeks ago, OK so maybe about a month ago. I asked you guys on Instagram if you guys want to see more beauty shoots from me. 99% of you guys said yes. Without further due, here is a creative shoot for you guys.

As you can already tell, I wanted to do a very colorful Eye makeup, and also play around with gel lights. I had the gel sheet for such a long time but never really had a chance to use it as much as I will like. So I wanted to incorporate the gel lights into the shoot. I mostly used the blue and red gel sheets.

The Eyes

Applying bold colors to the eyelids is always exciting, but the most important thing to remember is, start with less product and as you go along gradually add more, so you can see what you are doing.  

I know most people do their foundation first and then work on the eyes. But I find it easier to work on the eyes first and then the foundation and lipstick at the end. To be honest, there is no right or wrong way to do this. find what works best for you.

I use the MAC matchmaster foundation, and always remember before applying foundation always moisturize and prime your skin before foundation. This is key, many people underestimate the importance of prepping their skin for makeup.

Since there was a lot going on with the eyes I decided to just apply clear lipgloss on her lips to finish the look.

Glossy Eyes

Close to the end of the shoot I added MAC grand illusion glossy liquid lipcolour and clear lip gloss all over the eyelid to give a glossy eyelids look.
